Everyone's a Winner

last night was Corg's birthday.

he had him a wee party.

there was quite an impressive bar there. quite impressive.

so me and and House of the house made up a lil' game that we managed to get the whole party playing. it was, and is, one of the stoopidest games i have ever been involved in.

i'm very proud.

it's called ring toss.

here's how it works. first, you get Corg to make you three rings out of scrunched up alumninum foil. then you put all the bottles of booze in a grouping which covers most of the table. this includes (and i told you the bar was impressive) wine, beer, mead, gin, whiskey, vodka, mixers, assorted schnapps, bitters, aperitifs, homemade pepper vodka, rice wine vinegar, lemon juice, and other stuff like cap'n morgans (yearrrgggghhh), jagermeister, and this god-awful strawberry-cream-tequila stuff.

then, of course, you take turns throwing rings. whatever three bottles you hit first you mix into a shot.

then you chant RING TOSS RING TOSS RING TOSS as the person drinks their shot.

we made up some very good drinks.

i started with the delicious Xmas Won Ton: Creme de Menthe, Tonic and Rice Wine Vinegar.

believe me when i say it went downhill from there. 'cause it did.

we played three rounds. we wrote down all the drinks so i bet the House of the house will post the full list eventually.

here in troublonia, everything is slipping into hyperdrive. we've got a week until our garage sale and two before our going away party (still vastly unplanned). in three we'll be in LA waiting for a plane.

if you're keen on ever seeing us again, i encourage you to take the initiative. we're just wiggling back and forth between full-on spaz out and exhausted stupor.

anybody have any boxes?

I second Zack's account of the game. Three rounds. The best part was the names. I forgot to bring the list of drinks but I will post them tomorrow...we believe Mad's "Living Death" may have been the single worst...thanks to Tequila Rose!! (Tequila Rose...she looks like strawberries and cream, but she curdles like a cobra in the congo. Bwahahahahahahhahahahaha!)
