i am now wasting more time than ever playing The Kingdom of Loathing.
what is KoL, you ask?
it is the only thing that is keeping me from losing my mind at work. where else can you mix cocktails, eat lihc eye pie, and battle the bat king?
nowheres i tells ya. nowheres.

I am a sucker for an RPG. Having only played one before, that being WoW, which I am currently still addicted to.

I only partially understand how to play. But I can play at work! Hurrah!!
Feel free to explain just how the heck this stuff really works. And to let me know who you are...lvl...type...etc. I mostly just bumble around killing things with my tongs.

i've got two characters:
Mumblefratz Gazingus and Hot Pants the Pirate. both level 6. when you hit level 3, join the clan I joined - the Furry Ant Co.
here's a tip (although its fun to just figure it out yourself): make meat paste and try combining things you find to make better things. for example, and this one's good, wooden stakes and a bar skin. then use it.
