Color Me Skeptical

i'm just curious.

in case you aren't a news junkie, things are shaking up in lebanon. somebody assasinated the anti-syria opposition leader Hariri on valentine's day. in response, the people have risen up in protest and the pro-syrian president has resigned and dissolved his government. new elections will be in may and this may all pave the way for the syrian armies to finally leave lebanon to the lebanese.

except who killed Hariri?

if it was the syrians, or the pro-syrian government, i'd say they miscalculated. grossly. especially since Hariri had ALREADY RESIGNED as prime minister.

the triumphant march on parliment that resulted in the government's ouster? 25,000 people.

anybody go to any of the anti-war protests here? 25,000 people? there were 100,000 here easy and that was in San Francisco alone.

so i just don't buy it. that's all i'm saying. it's good news, i think. but i don't buy it.

it's like somebody assisinating al gore and the resulting uproar ousting the bush administration.

maybe i just don't understand lebanese politics well enough. i am skeptical that i'm getting the whole truth here, though.

who will gain the most from this? the USA and Israel.

what? oh. yeah. politics are not funny. sorry.

i'll write something more personal later.

i almost won the office oscar pool. missed it by one! goddamn that clint eastwood.

million dollar baby sucked space nards.
