Baby Head
i just got to smell some baby head. fresh, too! only two and a half weeks old!
edie, whom i work with, had little maia this month and brought her around so we could take turns holding her.
i've decided i should go into business making those car deoderizer things that you hang from your rear view mirror, but mine will smell like baby head and look like a baby head. perhaps for extra, you could send in a picture of your baby (or grandkid, whatever) and get a customized baby head stinky thing.
actually, that's a pretty good idea. i bet those would sell!
everybody loves baby head!
i slept well last night cause i took some drugs. like a rock. floomp into the bed and no tossy-turny until the alarm went off. madhavi just called to say she slept well because i slept well.
so we're both well rested and energized for the price of one half of a xanax.
that's cheap. i've got insurance. maybe once a week i'll pop one and try to get some sort of pattern going.
we went to see Itzhak Perlman play at the symphony last night. i felt bad clapping so much because he uses crutches and it's hard for him to get on and off stage, but he was fantastic so we clapped a lot and he had to come back on stage three times to smile and bow.
it could be worse, i guess, then having to deal with standing ovations.
some bonehead was taking flash pictures from the back of the hall during the performance. jee-zus! he was older and well dressed and sitting there with his digital camera going "click-flash" "click-flash" during a mozart symphony. as if some picture from the back of the hall would show anything other than vaguely identifiable musicians in a standard seating set up. perhaps you could make out Itzhak Perlman sitting on his conductor's podium. perhaps. like he'd put it in an album to say to friends, "see? that blob is itzhak perlman."
then some other guy said, quite loudly, "stop that."
old folks today, i'll tell you. no respect for the arts. who would think that's okay to do? to take flash pictures at the symphony? next thing you know, these old guys will be moshing during tchaikovsky symphonies.
doing stage dives and stuff.
i'm in a good mood today. it's my anniversary weekend with madhavi. two years if you ignore those nine months we didn't talk...
which i think i will, thank you very much.
also, i think you should go see Shaun of the Dead. it's a love story. with zombies. and it made me laugh. those zombies! so funny! always eating brains...
