gosh. as great a time as i had with the boys...

i don't ever need to go back to vegas.

i've decided vegas is where fake breasts go to die. i really cannot decipher why people make it their regular vacation spot. it's as lovely as a sewer after a heavy rain. as refreshing as a nail-studded baseball bat.

but it was excellent to have long meandering conversations with my friends about how we're all growing up. having these conversations in vegas made them especially poignant.

i recall laughing not so long ago about how we were all single. now, 2/3rds of us are talking about weddings and kids and being adult. somehow, we've grown up.

i'd also like to point out that the much advertised Star Trek Borg musical revue is being presented in futuristic 4-D, if you're headed that way. since i assume the fourth dimension to be "duration," that either makes the other vegas shows appallingly short or the Borg show somehow permenently indelible on your psyche. any volunteers to find out which? i've got five bucks for the cause...

How To Create The Fourth Dimension

"Through the use of various technologies and techniques, participants will be able to experience the feeling of being "assimilated" into the BORG Collective. ... For example, probes poke the guest's backs as the action peaks, in coordination with timed air blasts, surround sound audio rumbles, and a motion platform floor, creating the fourth dimension and amplifying what the guests are experiencing on screen."

i'm so there. i'm in lost wages the first week of may. i'm sure that i could spare a little stripper money to see borgs in 4D.

but where are the borg strippers?

Ha, ha, good one, "where fake breasts go to die".

A "piquant" observation.
